Default 'Extra' paint

So the bodyshop gave me the remaining PAINT from my recent body work. What the hell should I store it in for the long term?

Store it in the original container, in a dry place, not too hot nor too cold, and it will only keep for a year maybe.....from what I am told (depends though on how and with what it's mixed with).

Also shake it well from time to time.

Since you don't need that much paint (hopefully), divide it into small containers - ones you can seal tight (nothing in or out). Keep a small amount for yourself to touch up stone chips and sell the rest.

Baby food jars. The small Gerber kind kept some paint for one of my Volvo's for about 2 years. Then it just started to separate badly and I had to toss it.
