Window cleaners are basically, something like, 99% water and 1% being a cleaning agent. Rubbing alcohol, a few drops, mixed in with distilled water(32oz), maybe a few drops of vinegar (window washers like to use plain water and dishwashing soap) and you have yourself a great homemade window cleaner. You can mess around with the mixtures until you get something that you really like.

I've tried probably ten different glass products, my fave is Rain X glass cleaner from Wal Mart, of all places. Comes with a small free microfiber too! Used with plain white paper towels, switching often, and then follow with a clean microfiber. Also, clay bars make a huge difference on exterior glass too!
