Can you install PPF over paint that already has ceramic? That is, will it "stick"? Or do you have to remove the ceramic first?

Absolutely. Any PPF installer will prep the surface before applying PPF. It could be as simple as a wash and claybar or a stage paint correction.

It wouldn't be ideal to ceramic coat a car and then immediately put PPF over it. Won't adhere properly. But yes, if the car had ceramic done a year ago, you could apply PPF on top. As mentioned, would likely want to clay bar and do a light paint correction to help prep the surface.

If it’s a quality coating, ppf won’t adhere properly

remove ceramic, paint should feel slightly grabby when film is applied assuring a clean surface
