I purchased my car out of state and therefore have no ties to any local Northern IL dealers.

My previous P-car I bought from the Exchange and they seemed decent. My only concern with the Exchange is their location is being rebuilt and they are in temp space which looks like a disaster.

Who is the best and most competent dealer for service in the Chicago area?

 

I had my car serviced at PE during the reno and it was no big deal. Curb appeal isn't great but the facilities are the same. They are arguably the most well equipped dealer in Chicagoland. So I would (and do) continue to go there.

 

I ended up going to Loeber primarily because the service dept at PE was not answering their phone.

I found Loeber to be top notch. They communicated very well, took the time to explain what the issue was and how they were going to fix it. They kept the car to ensure the problem was addressed and followed up days later to make sure it was good to go.

 

+1 for Loeber. Purchased my Gl450 and had them do a 997tt ppi. Very professional and reviewed
the entire ppi with me. Also replied to my questions post ppi promptly.
