New to the Chicago area and a fairly new 997.2 owner living in the Highland Park/North Shore area. I realize we are almost at mid-November, but just looking to see if there are any cars & coffee or similar meet ups that anyone in the area knows of. Porsche or all cars. Thanks.

Welcome to Chicago!

Our Chicago section PCA has a few Porsches & Pastries events throughout the year. Starting in April and ending in September. They are usually in the Oak Brook, Schaumburg, and Barrington area.

Another interesting group is Supercar Saturdays. Lots of different cars. They do events the first Saturday of each summer month.

Thanks. I just joined PCA, but haven't registered for the chapter yet. I figured it might be too late in the season. A friend of mine restores of BMW 2002s in the DC area and was posting about a local cars & coffee which got me thinking. I'll make sure I pay my local one time fee and I'll keep my eyes open.

Our local PCA is great. Great group of owners. Great events at places like Road America, Blackhawk, Autobahn, Gingerman. Autocross. Rally. Concours. Social. DE. Club Racing. Something for everyone. We have a very good website and club officers.

You're in luck. Fuel Fed meets in Winnetka all summer long. That's not far from you. And LexVan is correct in saying that the PCA of Chicago is a wonderful club.

Supercar Saturday is the closest you'll get. Luckily bannockburn location they do every other month is nearby (I am in your neck of woods also)

Looking forward to the first c&c this spring. It cannot come soon enough. As mentioned, PCA Chicago is very well run with many events.

Which event is March 7th? Any more details? Would love to check it out.

There's also Rise & Drive downtown Chicago which started mid last year. The events I was at were a good time and a good mix of cars.
