Cars & Coffee - Indianapolis
A bunch of car enthusiasts in Indy started a weekly C & C gathering at the Paradise Cafe on Meridian and 96th Streets just south of I465. Wide variety show up on a regular basis - P-Cars, F-Cars, Lambos, Lotus, Vettes, etc. Typically goes from 10:00 to noon. Some head out for drives afterwards. I am heading there shortly this morning so we are up and running with the somewhat nicer weather.
See you there!!!

I see several have viewed this post so I thought I would follow-up to let all interested know about the turnout. Not bad for the first somewhat decent weather day in March. Here are the attendees yesterday:
Ford GT, Gallardo, 2 Porsches (including mine), 3 Lotus, BMW's NSX, EVO, 300ZXTT, a Subie and a just completed 7 powered by a Hayabusa motor.
On a good summer day we have had many times more vehicles than this!
The Paradise Cafe parking lot was consumed with regular customers so the cars migrated next door to the McAlisters Deli lot which is actually a bigger lot for our cars. The Manager of McAlisters came out and offered up free coffee and tea - not sure if thats an ongoing offer - we'll see next week.
Spread the word as this is an outstanding group of enthusiasts with a wide variety of vehicles.

In the spirit of trying to spark interest among Porsche enthusiasts for the Indy C&C gatherings I have posted (I hope) shots from our rather chilly gathering yesterday. In spite of the cool temps and wind several turned out. 2 F-cars, Lotus, that HOT little 7, my 911 and a late arriving GT-3, Beemers, Audis, VW, and sweet looking Caddy.

Is that on Saturdays? I'm up in the NE corner of Indiana but drive down to Indy for the DINO trail runs. If the whole family races, we drive the Acuru. If just me or one other, I take the Boxster or the 993.
By chance, anyone else around here run these races?

I haven't checked back on this thread in quite a while as it was rather inactive. Yes, it is still happening with last week drawing an excellent crowd. Tomorrow should be a good turnout with the cooler temps.
This is really a great informal gathering of some truly great cars of all varieties.

As long as the weather is good. Every Sat 10a-1145a at McAllisters.
Quite a few cars. Difficult to see the R8, GTR, 458, Evora which were way back.
Here are some pics from another forum from last year:

Balefire,
I'm going to guess you were the silver 996 parked in the back corner of the lot. Beautiful car, I love the old school 911 logo on the back. I was in the Bahama Blue '74 Targa next to the orange Cayman. Sorry, I didn't get to meet the only other 911 driver there, hopefully we can round up some more
