I don't post here often, but a few of us over at 6SpeedOnline have been planning a Chicago area meet and have finally worked out all the details, so here they are:

When: Saturday May 13th at 11:00 a.m.

Who: We'd like to make this meet open to all highline cars, so please spread the word to other forums as well!

What: Chicago Indoor Racing is a karting track, so we plan in taking part in some of that, however we are not renting out the track, just arrive and drive. There has also been talk of a cruise afterwards.

Please post below if you plan on attending so that we have an idea of how many people to expect.

On Rennlist the Regional Forums don't get much attention(just take a look at the number and infrequency of posts). If you post this in the 996, 997 or other relevant forums you'll get more of a response. I will try to make it up there Saturday.

Ditto, If i would of saw this sooner, i would be there. Its a good 3 1/2hr drive for me, but a fun one.

Well Im out says people over 250 cant ride. Im 251 maybe I can lose 1 pound by sat...but seriously I may be a bit cramped in one of those although I may still go to spectate. Is there an entry fee to spectate.

Damn. Got Cubs tickets on Saturday. That indoor racing track is a blast. Some highly competitive folks out there from time to time.

I reserved 7 spots for races at 3:20 and 4:18. If you have never raced at CIR before you must be there no later than 3:00!!!
