I was wondering if anyone had any dealings with LUXURY MOTORS
310 OGDEN AVENUE
DOWNERS GROVE, IL 60515
and could recommend a PPI in the area.
Also any comments on the dealer would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Bob

Be careful with luxury motors. I have heard some horror stories about cars that have had frame damage without disclosing any info to buyers. There are a lot of threads on various forums about them. I also know people who bought good cars from them. Def do a PPI. What kind of car are you looking to purchase from them. Depending on the car there are several reputable shops to have a PPI done

Yeah, Napleton is a couple of miles down US30 toward the city. You can try Euroquipe - I've heard nothing but good things about them and am happy with the service they provided me:

I authorized Downers Grove Luxury Motors to hold $1000. deposit on a vehicle. I purchased a plane ticket to go inspect, and finalize the deal. This was 2-6-08. The dealer not only billed my card for the entire amount, but then told me the car doesnt run. It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with them since !! No phone calls returned, a non-refundable airline ticket, etc. I formally purchased an auto from their O'Hare location... It was a joy to deal with them, but I would never reccomend anyone dealing with the Downers Grove location !! From my salesman Kiko, to the used car manager Chris Clatter, to the general manager of the dealship James (unknown last name).. this has cost me a small fortune, and I havent even seen the car, or have had my deposit refunded !! Good luck to anyone to chooses to deal with this dealership !! I will never reccomend them !!

Yeah, I visit there for laughs because you can tell right away that they are, well let's say, that they give the used cars salesman that bad name.
Late this summer I looked at a Boxter that was labeled ans "S" version and I could cleearly see that it was not. The rear deck you could see where the Boxter S was repositioned and the paint was faded where the orginal logo was.
I have seen other cars that just did not make sense...
Wow, how they stay in business is a mystery to me! Definently a front for something...
So drive to St Louis before you go there!
