Default Hardwiring radar through mirror problem

Hello

i was attempting to hardwire a radar detector through the mirror using blend mount wires and holder on my 2016 gt3. After releasing the overhead console I was ready to go. Some how at some point, the wires came out of the harness(see pic) I cannot figure out how to get them back in (nor the correct order), I try to put them back in and it immediately falls out. Is there a trick like a release tab or something? How far are they supposed to be inserted? I’m lost at this point, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mirror console

Check You Tube. There is a nice short video of a guy wiring a mirror tap there. The black is the ground and the purple/black is the positive. Maybe you can see from the video where they plug into the block.
