Hi all - if all goes to plan, I should be picking up a 986 in the very near future and will be hanging out in Denton for a week while I visit family as part of the return journey to CA.

Can anybody recommend a reliable shop someplace north of Dallas, between the 35E and 35W, with reasonable pricing to take care of the IMS/RMS work, before my last leg home?

Mayo Performance is highly recommended and an IMS Solution Certified Installer. Been working with Ed Mayo and Chris Amond for years. Great guys.

 

Mayo is certainly a good choice, but not quite in the area that you requested. I've been having very good luck with Fifth Gear in Lewisville - right off of 35. I would certainly trust them with that repair.

 

Thanks guys - I had an email back from 5th Gear and they quoted (approx) $3800 for IMS,RMS and AOS, which seems to be fairly in line with some other prices.
I'll check Mayo as well.
