Default Reputable PPI shop near San Antonio.

Hey guys, I have a friend interested in this 991: https://www.themarkmotors.com/vehicl...ource=cars.com

Looking to get a PPI close to the seller. Real concern is the front rotors look abnormally rough for 29,000 miles. If you know this car please pm me or can can provide a reputable PPI shop LMK.
Car is located at 140 Enterprise PKWY
Boerne TX.
Huge thanks, David.

Jones Autowerks in San Antonio is a very reputable shop (from what I've seen online, haven't dealt directly with them yet, but plan to soon). Per this thread on Pelican Parts forum, they do PPIs and do a good job (http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...ml#post4475579). Only issue would be they're ~40 mins away. Boerne is a smaller town so I'm not sure how much luck you'll have finding a place close by Mark Motors.

It would be worth a call to German Car Specialists - not sure if they will do a PPI but they do all the work on my 996TT and Cayenne GTS and they are great guys. Berk owns it and he is very cool to deal with - hopefully they can help out. Much closer to Boerne than Jones - but Jones does have a stellar reputation. Mark Motors usually has excellent inventory of very high quality cars - always top notch stuff.

Reviving this old thread... I just called German Car and they are no longer doing inspections. They referred me to Jones Autowerks, and they told me they are also not doing inspections. They referred me to Autobahn, and they are still doing inspections, though the don't call them PPIs, they call them pre-service inspections. $250.

Just to follow up on this in case anyone else comes across it. I can vouch for GCS. Berk, the owner, has been a close friend of mine going on 20yrs. Since he’s been in business, he’s the only one who touches any of my cars outside of work done under manufacturer warranty. While Porsches are their specialty, they’ve worked on everything from your run-of-the-mill VW to exotics.
WRT PPI, when I asked him about it in July he said they don’t do them atm because they don’t have the time given their current workload. Berk said he’d probably revisit this policy early next year.
