Nice, was up in wauconda that week and was going to head down but for some reason thought it was off 14 where the fuelfed meets are usually held. Decided to head back up north instead

I'll go to Fuelfed because Hinsdale is close, and park nearby. Never joined because they said mine is too new and would not likely get a spot at most events.

Is there anything interesting happening on Sunday in Chicagoland?

For folks in the city, the Morgan Street Motor club puts on a great event in the Fulton Market district, and their next show is on Sunday.

Will there be many Porsches or other exotics there?
Do participants have to stay till it ends at 2:00?
What is the $30 entry fee for? Charity? Or do they have to pay for the parking?

Looked like early sprinkles discouraged folks from the Fuelfed event this AM. I got there at about 9:50 and there was nobody there.

Tomorrow does not look good for the Morgan Street show, with 50% chance of scattered T-storms in the AM, some severe.

Oh well! Next week: PCA autocross at TireRack in South Bend and Autobahn Cars & Track, both on Saturday. Geneva Concours on Sunday.
I might do Autobahn Sat and will probably do Geneva Concours on Sun. Anything else going on? ?

The Morgan Street Motor Club events have an eclectic mix of cars. It varies a lot because each event has a theme. Last time was Ferrari’s on Fulton, and it was lousy with exotic Ferrari’s, but also hasn’t classic corvettes and rat rods. The $30 ticket is just if you’re showing. The event is free if you’re just there to look.

I registered for CheckedItOut Chicago on 9/14. Should be a really good show this year.

I'm registering to park with the Porsches at Geneva Concours next Sunday. John, their registration guy, says if you print and fill in.application and mail today or tomorrow you can still attend and park on the Porsche street.
