Default Cayenne Electric Orders

Has anyone ordered Cayanne Electric? If so, what's the delivery date estimate? I will likely have to replace my Taycan CT, and I'm thinking about making a switch to Cayenne Electric.

My dealer in Colorado claims I am #2 on their list for a Turbo, and that they have no allocations yet.

The salesman is not the most precise communicator. I suspect they might have already gotten one allocation and given it to a customer already, thus I was actually #3 on their original list, but I don't have any more information on that or what the delivery date might be.

I'm not in a hurry otherwise I'd be pushing harder.

I was told by our dealer in Las Vegas, they have cars coming in July, custom order looking for September delivery. Seemed like there were plenty allocations for the Turbo. This was about six weeks ago, so it might have changed. I got the impression that there is not huge pent up demand.

I was going to put it in my order, but I will wait and drive one in July. Then make a decision.

Why in the world are there not massage seats available? It shouldn't be such a big deal to me, but it oddly is....

Somewhere else I read it is a safety/airbag certification issue. They will be available in the future, just not at launch.

Any news from Porsche on solids state batteries. This, with longer ranges will get me outa ICE and into an EV.

I think we'll have to wait another 3-5 years for the first solid-state batteries. For now, Chinese and Japanese battery manufacturers are boasting about their progress in developing this technology, but it's a bit like the Yeti: everyone's heard of it, but no one's seen it.

Porsche certainly won't be a pioneer in this technology; we can expect that rather from the Chinese.
