Default Ehhbrid Micro surges

I have 24 turbo ehybrid with around 10 k miles and over the past few weeks have noted a drivetrain issue that I think may be an issue with the electric motor.

When sitting ad a stoplight with the brake on the car will bump or jolt just a little two to three times in the minute your stopped feeling like a wind gust or airplane micro turbulence.

No cel no driving issues, not related to hot or cold. Should note that I drive in ehybrid mode most of time and while these events are occurring the engine is not active.

any thoughts ?

two hours from dealer or Piwis.

No, I don’t see any other problems with the drivetrain or jerking or shifting issues once it’s moving. This is only when sitting at a stoplight with a brake on.

On the old Cayenne diesel when the transmission was a little weird as you were down shifting off of an off-ramp , you’d have a little bit of a jerk in the transmission. This is the kind of jerk you feel only we’re sitting still.

I swear it sounds like I’m nuts like a gust of wind is pushing the whole SUV, but I have the window down and there’s no wind.

It’s happening 2 to 3 times through a stoplight, level ground sitting still Electric mode only. Engine not running.

I also have a TEH 2024, and this phenomenon doesn't occur in my car. I think it's worth taking this to the dealership.
Does this also happen when the car has the "Hold" function enabled?

I don’t know about the hold function or what happens if it’s in park I’ve only noticed it sitting at stoplights but it’s happened 5-6 times and each time it’s 2 to 3 different jolts.

I’ll try to get through the dealer over the next few months

I would not wait a few months. This is something that should be addressed sooner rather than later, especially since there is a chance the situation may worsen over time. Warranty-related issues are best reported as early as possible.

When you visit the dealership, ask for the shop foreman or a senior technician and demonstrate the issue in real time. Once they experience it themselves, they can document it properly, whether that means reporting it or recording it. If they cannot reproduce or observe it firsthand, it is much harder for them to take action or help resolve it.

Do you have PDCC? I’ve experienced cars that seem like they were bumped into at a stop light. PDCC triggered and caused the sensation.
