I have done AMMONYC's Reflex Pro II on my Taycan CT4 and also now recently Cayenne S e hybrid and also my BMW M2. About to do my wife's Macan 4 EV and will also probably use same product as am used to it and similar to Glytech Cyrstal Light and Exo which I've done before on my Carrera S. As others have already said best results come from prep to include clay, wash, foam wash, Iron removal, and paint correction to ensure you've got a good base to work with of paint surface. Then application indoors with good lighting! Did mine in my garage and left to cure [free from rain and dust[ for at least 24hrs to ensure ceramic set up was best and no contamination. Am about to do my wife's Macan 4 EV which is black so will need to ensure surface is perfect and also paint corrected as necessary to ensure no swirl marks and defects are "baked' into the ceramic. But will get it done soon. Easy to do oneself just takes time and a bit of effort and knowledge easily available via Youtube and RL forums.
The guy that runs the Youtube page Dimitry's Garage just launched a new website called Detailscore that ranks all the coatings he's actually tested. This is not an exhaustive list and there are many brands not listed. He also tests spray on coatings and waxes.
Had a chance to do the full spa treatment over the weekend. Wash, panel wipe, clay bar, panel wipe, machine polish, wash again, panel wipe, GTechniq CSL, then EXO. I am impressed with the products so far. I hope they hold up well.
Sure looks good for the moment...
@MSCA , I'd be interested to hear your review of the glass treatment. I'm interested in how their product compares to more traditional products like rainx. Any windshield wiper chatter or anything?

Whoa!! That looks absolutely fantastic — great job! You must have put in a lot of sweat, and it really shows.
Applying Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armor can be a bit tricky without removing the wheels, but if you get a chance to do it, you’ll love the results — maintenance becomes so much easier. I haven’t had the windshield treatment done yet, but I’ll post a review once I do. I’m planning to get spacers and lowering links installed, and wheel balancing done at my detailer’s (he’s got a garage on-site), and at that time I’ll also have the wheels ceramic coated with C5 and the windshield treated.
Your Cayenne really looks amazing and I wish I had a garage to park my car indoors!!

Thanks!
I did apply the C5 on the wheels actually (just the fronts). My intention was to remove the wheels and do them one by one but with this particular wheel design it was easy to isolate and clean the fronts, so I just did that for now. I plan to do the rest down the road.
Don't be too jealous of the garage. It's small and we are always working around bikes, go karts, and RC cars. So it's barely a garage most of the time! As always, we need more space for cars!
How did the GTechniq windshield product work out? That's still untreated for the moment on mine

I haven’t had the windshield treatment done yet, but I’ll share a review once it’s applied. I’m waiting on parts and plan to have spacers, lowering links, and wheel balancing done at my detailer’s shop (he’s got a garage on the same site as well). applied to my windshield and the difference has been incredible. The application takes some effort but the process is straightforward. The glass must be cleaned and fully prepped, all residue removed, and the coating applied in layers. It also needs proper curing time. My detailer kept the car indoors after completing the work and let it cure for about sixteen hours. He brought the car in around four, completed the application, left it inside overnight, and then took it out the next day around noon. To clean the glass, he used
, which he also uses for the entire car. It is pH neutral and designed for ceramic coatings and nanotechnology-based sealants. After washing, he dried the glass and finished with
In heavy, pouring rain the water forms larger beads that roll off almost immediately, so visibility stays clear. Even in slow, light rain the coating still works well because the droplets stay rounded and lift off with just a little airflow. It also performs extremely well after the car has been parked. If it rains while the car is sitting, I come back to a windshield covered in clean, perfectly rounded beads that clear instantly with one swipe or even just by driving away. No smearing and no hazy film.
One thing I really noticed is how the windshield looks from a distance. It has that “new glass” look, almost like a freshly detailed car sitting in the sun. Completely clean, clear, and glossy. The windshield takes up a massive portion of the car, and beyond the functional benefits, the car simply looks better cosmetically with this applied, rain or shine.
For me, the results have been absolutely worth it. I highly recommend it.
@mark8 Here's my promised review of the windshield product.

Very Nice. Thanks for this. I did end up putting rainx on but I may try this in the spring. Let me know how the wipers do after a few weeks or a month. I'm curious if they start to skip at all or if they stay pretty smooth.

It’s been over a month and the wipers are doing fine - as prior I mean - no challenges there - but the results are outstanding due to the product. PS- My driver side wiper makes an inch streak in the middle but that’s been there since beforehand and needs to be fixed.
