Dumb sunroof question

I've spent hours trying to find an answer but finally had to break down and ask... Is there any version of the 2020 Cayenne Turbo panoramic roof that only vents but does not slide back? We bought a used 2020 turbo and that's what its doing. The dealer told us that some panoramic roofs do not slide open, but I have my doubts about that. The switch only shows an image of a vented roof, but all the turbos I am seeing on autotrader show the same. I am also seeing conflicting information about whether the panoramic roof is standard on the turbo or not? Our window sticker does not show the roof as an option, but several sites show it as standard on the turbo.
I will likely never even open the sunshade, but if its broken I'd like to get it fixed.

edit: Found a few sites that show the pano roof is part of the Premium Package Plus, which IS on our sticker, although the bullet points under that do not list the roof?

i can't select the 2020 model from the drop down because it is too old but with your vin, you should be able to pull the manual here and verify:

Thanks for the reply! I checked the manual already, and it states the front panel can be vented or fully opened, no mention of any models having a tilt only feature. At least I think so. Not the best writing in that thing.

The Panoramic Roof System on 2020 Turbo is optional. Page 114 of the sales brochure (full document attached) shows just one option code, 3FU. This tells me that only one version of the roof was available and that your dealer is, not surprisingly, incorrect.

You are correct that the Panoramic Roof is not listed as an installed option if you have the optional Premium Package Plus. On my detailed build sheet (attached), my Panoramic Roof (3FU) is listed as “Additional Equipment” on page 2. You can purchase a detailed build sheet on VIN Analytics for $12.99. Inexpensive, instant download, and highly recommended.

In the build sheet you will find interesting info such as paint codes, interior trim codes, engine and transmission serial numbers, the alternator is rated for 210 amps, parking sensors are ultrasonic, comfort pressure max speed is 100 mph, etc, etc.

Wow do i feel dumb, but figured I'd follow up in case anyone ever has the same problem. I took it to the dealer, the service advisor got in and immediately got the roof to slide open. It looked like he was doing exactly what I had tried many times already but I tried it and it opened; thanked him and left. I tried again and could not get it to open! Went back and went through the same thing again, but this time I could not get it to function. The advisor figured out that I was pulling downward on the switch, which WILL make it vent, but will not slide back. I did not realize I had to move the switch directly backwards instead of down. So I guess its a six-function switch instead of the four I thought.
I cannot believe I didn't figure that out. I've rebuilt engines and all kinds of other things, but for some reason this thing outsmarted me. Roof works perfectly fine!

Glad you figured it out. I should have re-posted this, as you’re not the first to have that problem. 😀

Quote: As to your question, think of the sunroof switch as the actual sunroof. The sunroof will mimic your switch movements. Pull the entire switch aft and the roof will move aft. Push the aft edge of the switch upward and the rear edge of the sunroof will tilt up. (See annotated picture)
