Most all the ports along the east coast to Texas could be affected. My 22 came through Houston. I think many carries stop along the east coast before heading to the west coast. Likely delaying most all Porsche deliveries except for the few GT cars that are air shipped.

I would guess this doesn’t affect all the cars already offloaded in the destination port but just awaiting EPA certification / final port inspection.

These ports likely are very busy to start with and probably have very little margin to offload more product. May require additional $ for priority

Usually a strike is everyone including the gate guards and all support employees. From my understanding the entire port will stop operating, otherwise the strikes would not be effective if they could still operate.

That could depend on whether the truckers are union and will they cross the longshoreman's picket lines.

A non union trucker crossing these lines will do so with significant risk. It many cases it would likely not even be possible. I am as far from a union man as one can be but understand that these guys are negotiating against 40 year high inflation that has really put the hurt on our middle class.

Port of Houston is not the same as the Port of Freeport used by VW. According to the latter’s website, it is still operating as normal.

And I don’t see Brunswick GA on the map above. . It’s a significant RORO port esp for BMW.

Correct. The Ports are closed and the picket lines across the gates. Baltimore recorded a record number of trucks picking up yesterday before the closure. My 2025 Cayenne is stuck there.....

My 25 Cayenne arrived at Davisville 9/26 (Thursday). It was a nailbiter over the weekend with the strike looming. Departed 9/29 and arrived at the dealer the day before the strike. Close one!

I called the dealer to see how the car arrived and mention how lucky we were - he had no clue about the strike…. I suppose he was in for an unpleasant surprise this morning.
