Default Is there a way to disable the Hold function?

I have a 2024 TGT. The hold function is sometimes a nuisance feature. Is there any way to deactivate it in the PCM?

good question. are you talking about the incline situation where it automatically activates to prevent a rollback? i know it is annoying in my garage because before the garage door the floor is sloped, so if i stop the car on the slope to wait for the door, it does the HOLD, then i have to intentionally tap the gas instead of letting the car just glide out under its own "natural power".

Yes exact same issue for me. Plus when backing up in a tight space I have to be careful not to press the gas pedal too much to get it to release.

i have developed a very light tap technique but it isn’t ideal.

Only change the coding. But no one will do that for you in TGT 2024. Even dealers do not have such an option in the latest models. And even if they did, they would not do it, explaining it with security reasons.
Independent programmers do not have software for 2024 models yet and it is still unknown whether, following Audi's example, Porsche does not have SFD2 software protection.
