Question Where to list Porsche for Sale?

Where are your favorite places to list your Porsche FSBO and how do I determine a fair price?

I've attempted to trade my '19 Porsche Cayenne but the Porsche dealers are way below other dealerships and/or Carmax, etc. The dealers admit they are low and suggested selling myself. I'm wondering if it's even worth the hassel. Any suggestions or advice is appreciated. TIA

Note: I'm not attempting to sell on this forum. I'm only seeking information.

Weird they wouldn't at least match Carmax. They must mainly sell CPO and to CPO your car will cost them to get it up to spec before they can add the warranty.

I've shopped other brands and the trade in at other dealers is much higher, but I've decided to purchase another Porsche. I'd like to trade for a new Macan S or Cayenne Coupe. I've shopped it at 4 Porsche dealers. They all said it rates 9-9.5/10 with an estimated cost of $1000 for reconditioning which includes new tires, checking the car etc. It only has 22.8K miles & they will sell as a CPO. They are also charing me the CPO fee. It's a base and they've said if it was a S, they'd be more willing to negotiate.

Has anyone else experienced issues with tradinging/sell a Porsche?

I’ve had good luck selling (and buying) on Car Gurus. Just bought one today using it and getting ready to use Car Gurus to sell a couple cars next week.

Had similar experience recently with BMW versus Carmax. The dealer was embarrassingly off and Carmax actually came back a few times to up their bid so I went there.
this was a 650 vert fwiw.

I sold my 2020 Cayenne on Autotrader.com within one week. If you have the stomach to weed out the wannabes and lowballers your car will get max exposure. I got $58k vs dealer offer of $52k in August 2023.

I decided to try the free sites before paying for an ad. Posted on Cars.com, Facebook Marketplace & in several Porsche FB groups. Weeding through all the weirdos, scammers & lowballers was time consuming, but overall, it went well.

As of June 27, 2024 Car Gurus will no longer accept private seller listings. Argh!
