And if you ever get Turbonite crests on your valve caps, I’m certain they will also be properly aligned. 😎

So with the key, what has to be done to get it up and running w your car?

I bought 2 brand new Turbonite keys from someone and swapped the electronics.

wow i wouldn’t have thought there would be a 2nd hand porsche key market for a key so new. that is awesome. i know from the dealer they are about 600$ per key for the “regular” key.

The keys I bought were brand new, not yet coded (what, just in case, I checked with the dealer), so after changing the electronics I can still sell them with a standard housing. I bought them on a local, German online platform at a price much, much lower than the dealership price.
I am a car freak, but not enough to spend $1200 on 2 keys just to get a Turbonite housing

yes i did think you were a bit too astute to spend that on two new vanity keys, but then i thought well if he really wants it he might bite the bullet in this rare instance. however, i am glad to know you remain so astute!
