Do you know if the on sale date is dependent on the EPA cert in terms of getting shorter? ie if the EPA certs come through on say 9/15 does the on sale date move up or stay at 10/24? vs obviously it would go long if the EPA doesn't come through by then. Just curious if there will be a record sales day on 10/24 with cars stacking up at the dealerships.
It arrived Port of Houston around 15 Oct, EPA cert pending.
Think it was around 10 Nov when EPA Cert was approved. Anyway they were immediately released to the dealerships and I picked up mine on 16 Nov, PDI complete.
IIRC, the CARB cars sat in port until early Dec until that Cert was approved.
It wasn't too bad for the 982s, some 992s sat in port for up to 6 months awaiting certs.
Few years back was looking at Cayenne Hybrids -- those got stuck awaiting EPA cert or mileage calculation for a long time. They were in dealerships as the new Model Years were also arriving, massive discounts.
Again, this is my experience and what the dealer is telling me. It could all be ok and approval pending any day now.

Just got notification today that my Cayenne GTS will go into production on 9/26.

My coupe entered production on 8/23 and completed 8/27. Entered production about a week late from original PSVMS estimate, completion pretty close to original estimate.
2 hours after I received the completion notification, I received notification that it is en route Emden.
Moving right along!

It's still there today on mine but hard to get. If you click on your personal icon and make a few selections, a "back to overview" appears. After selecting overview the TYD status appears. Last week what appeared to be the actual factory schedule appeared instead of TYD...with dates a couple of days earlier. Trivia, because the App is much easier.
