Hello all, I have a 2019 Cayenne turbo with the Bermester speaker system. The midrange in the passenger door does not seem to like some notes and is very scratchy, especially during phone calls. Long story short, I need to replace the speakers. I see the place RENNSPEC mentioned in past threads about this subject is out of business. Where do I source the adapter plates and speaker wire adapters for the swap? I appreciate any help you can provide. I was thinking about using the HERTZ 700.3 speakers. They seem to be the favorite amongst every custom job I have seen on youtube.

 

Why aren't you thinking about replacing it with Burmesters? The scratchiness means the speaker is malfunctioning so a replacement will fix the issue. On the other hand, a new type of speaker would require tuning etc.

 

That’s an option. I was thinking that for the cost I can get a much better speaker. I didn’t think about the tuning aspect.
