Default Found a 2020 S I like....input please

I've been searching for a 9YO S for a while, because I want certain options. I just found one with all I want and then some (except for wheels). Colors are right as well. Car has lived in Ohio for four years (a late 2020). Do I need to be concerned with corrosion? Would a PPI find any of those issues?

No corrosion concerns. I think my MY20 S has zero specks of rust, judging from some under-car work I have done (transfer case oil change and engine oil changes). The car is used in a winter-affected zone.

A PPI will not flag corrosion on a 2-3 year old vehicle depending on build date. There simply will be no concerning corrosion at this stage. All will be considered "normal" by anyone doing a PPI.

VIN or option list?

Hopefully the car you are looking at has air suspension, leather interior, SportChrono and SportsExhaust.

As Chassis has stated, there should not be any concerns with body corrosion provided that the car has not had any previous body damage that was repaired. I would recommend using a paint thickness meter in order to confirm that the paint is original.

Under the vehicle is another story. As part of the PPI, I would make sure the undercarriage is looked at with the car on a lift. Have any underbody panels removed in order to facilitate a careful examination.

Thanks for the input on the corrosion. The vehicle has a good history. Although the Cayenne is not being sold by a Porsche dealer, the selling dealer checked with the P dealer....no warranty claims. Selling dealer put new tires on the vehicle. It does not have air suspension, but other than that, it is very well spec'd. Full leather, sport chrono, sport exhaust, surround view, gloss black trim and badges as well as the roof rails, thermally insulated glass, premium plus. Selling dealer told me the sticker on the car was $114,000. Brakes are good. The car will need it's 40,000 mile service very soon. Other services done on time. I drive about 8,000 to 8,500 miles a year. I don't mind not having air suspension. I would like a few less miles, but I haven't found anything else I like as much as this one. I would be moving from a 2015 Cayenne diesel (52,000) miles to this vehicle, so I hope the 2020 S is as reliable.
