I'm putting an aftermarket dashcam in my 2020 and when I hooked it up to literally any of the four USB-C outlets they all stay on, even when locked. Does anyone know if they finally shut off after the engine is powered down for a certain period of time? I will not be locking the car as it's in my garage every night.

My understanding is that in the same way that when you charge your battery through the cabin cigarette lighter or when you install 3rd party electronics, when the vehicle controllers detect an active load, it will not turn off the USB power and your battery will become drained, with the vehicle locked or not..
Whenever I forget my Garmin GPS connected to my USB cigarette lighter more than a day, I will find my battery dead and will need to jump start it..
I have a dashcam plugged into the passenger foot well outlet. The outlet stays on for 30 mins after you shut the engine off. After 30 mins, it turns off

I plugged mine in the same outlet under the glove box.
Mine stayed on. I parked my car, locked it, went back after 2 hours to check it, my dashcam was still on.
is there a setting somewhere in the PCM that I have to change? Or is there a fuse that I have to move from 1 slot to another to change the outlets from always on to ignition powered? I've seen that option on other cars.
My dashcam is powered through the OBD port and is on 24/7. However, my dashcam has a motion detector and it shuts off after a short period of no activity. It does not draw enough to affect the battery.
