Sounds like this will be the ultimate pepper.

What's the weight of it? Still won't touch a Turbo GT.

I wonder if the US will get the Coupe GT package since we have the TGT here?

146 for the US, some stuff standard. Mildly equipped around 155
Considering the outgoing TTS hybrid prices, it's not terrible.

I must be spending too much time here because I actually think it's a bargain! I think @daveo4porsche optioned his over $200k! And this has more power AND more range...

The base price of the new Turbo jumped up quite a bit but also it includes more things that were previously optional, many of which I would spec anyway. So comparing it to my current Turbo, the same configuration would cost within $5K of where I would expect, given the inflation. Not too bad, given how much more power it makes, and the utility of the hybrid tech. Of course, now we have the "luxury for the government" tax, but that's not Porsche's fault.

Some observations:
  • Red brake callipers - WTF? I want acid green! It probably also means PSCBs are gone. The callipers are bigger than on Cayenne S, though - the same size as the current Turbo. I like PSCB, but there have been a ton of issues with suppliers (even pre-covid) and noise, so I understand Porsche's decision here.
  • The total power and total torque are much lower than the sum of gas and hybrid engine numbers. The base hybrid is very close to the sum of both drivetrains, and this is much further. I suspect that's due to gearbox/drivetrain limitations. But on the flip side, the "area under the curve" should be VERY fat. In fact, it makes peak power in the 5500-6800 range, so all the way to the red line. Nice!
  • The fuel tank and trunk shrink even slightly more than in the base Hybrid, but less so than before.
  • Permissible gross weight is MUCH higher now, so this hybrid will have 400lbs bigger payload than my current non-hybrid Turbo, assuming the specs are accurate. That's a win.
  • Towing capacity is reduced by 1100lbs, which is ok by me - I would not tow 7700lbs with Cayenne anyway (I'm sure it can do it, but if I'm towing a small house, I'd rent/buy a diesel truck).
  • The two-tone interior options are the same as for other models and just as ugly (not the colours - the back bits), so black-only for me.
  • Some options are unclear - for example, the leather package description includes center console grab handles, but then it's also a $1K option (it would be a downgrade if it's optional).

All in all, I'll get over lack of acid callipers, smaller trunk (compared to the current Turbo) and lower wading depth. Everything else seems to be nicely improved.

Standard equipment-wise, it's closer to Turbo than the outgoing Turbo S.

Sorry if I missed something but is the Turbo and GTS being replaced by the e-hybrid? Or, will there be a GTS version with increased power?

acid green calps are a free option
leather is so wack in this MY , the rear seat is awful
grab handles in leather has always been a weird option. With leather package they seem leather. My guess is you can get non leather package and then add those or you can change the color on them?

the GVWR is huge… 7klbs. For 729hp it’s a mind blast

I don't get it, why they don't offer 2+1 rear seat option with GT packages?

Intentionally limiting practicality and forcing customers to get useless plastic box in the middle instead of a fifth seat.

My understanding is that the if full leather is selected, the $1K grab handle option pretty much just gets you the option for deviated stitching on the grab handles.
