What do I pick while I wait?
So after a crazy series of events I went from a locked build on a eHybrid to a Cayenne GTS allocation for a MY23 that has a lock date of July and a build slated for August. While I am thrilled I got a GTS allocation for MSRP with delivery this year….In the meantime I need something now.
I am planning to pickup a base MY19 Cayenne while I wait the 5-6 months for delivery. My question is what do you all think holds resale the best? Any particular colors, options, etc to stay away from? I am leaning towards single owner, CPO, lowest miles possible and black - cheapest price. I don’t anticipate I’ll put more than 5k miles on the car before I’m trading it back in for the tax credit on the GTS - just want the best value/resale value.

I'd get the cleanest example you can get at the best price and skip paying extra for the CPO. Why spend the additional money on a two year warranty for something you will only own for 5 months?
I wouldn't worry about resale, I'd worry about your sale, who knows where the market will be in 5 months

Agree with othertbone — no need for CPO. However, check the delivery date of the vehicle. Many 2019 models (delivered fall of 2018) will go out of warranty later this year. Vehicle’s value will take a hit when warranty expires.
