If you programmed the ♦️ button for surround view, it has an additional, newly discovered benefit. If you want to mute that annoying beeping, just press the ♦️ button again. Much faster and more convenient than as described in my previous post.
I use my diamond button to activate Park Distance/Surround View, but pushing it again does not mute. I have a 2022 with PCM 6.0 ( ie, no colored icons or native Spotify), which could explain why. If your car has PCM 6.1 (with the above), you just discovered another step backwards for PCM 6.0.
^^^ Yes, it’s a good shortcut, dasams. I tried several ♦️ options, including Next Track and ***, but found this one most useful.
One more thing. You can switch camera views anytime by tapping the desired camera, as illustrated below. The camera icon will indicate the active camera.

Same here. There are many odd and frustrating UI/UX choices baked into PCM. Don't get me wrong, it gets a lot right, but sometimes I doubt that the product managers developing the software ever actually use the system themselves.
