A simple Allen Wrench is all you need. Any size 7/64” or 2.5mm will work. See screen grabs of video posted below. Scroll to 1:34 for center cap removal.

The caps are held by friction and have two small holes in them. Insert the short, angled end of a small Allen wrench in one hole (Top screen grab). Rotate the wrench 90 degrees so that the small end is now latched behind the cap. Pull outward using pliers on the Allen wrench (bottom screen grab).

Can anyone point me to a reputable source for black center caps for 2022 Cayenne’s? Was thinking or replacing the colored gold ones with black ones along with a black/silver hood badge.

And when installing your new caps, remember there is only one correct way. 😎

…. or source the factory wire tool part # from Suncoast. It’s bent in a shape that works perfectly to pull the cap off evenly with no damage. Silly at $43-48 but I
bought one yrs ago and surprised how much I’ve used it.

Another option. One coat hanger, pliers, and 5 minutes yielded this handy tool. File the cut ends to form a rounded, non-scratching finish.
