Hello everyone, new member here. Been a Porsche fan and finally being able to purchase one. Negotiating with several dealers to order a 22 Cayenne GTS, however they all asking for above sticker. Would be happy to pay MSRP. Is this the new norm?
Welcome! Additional dealer markup, or ADM, seems to be the norm for higher end Cayennes and basically all Porsche models these days, especially the GTS. Others have found that emailing or calling lots of local and out of state dealers may yield a dealer with an open allocation that is willing to sell the vehicle without ADM. Be glad you are not searching for a 911 GT3 or 718 GT4RS where ADM are running $100k or higher. Yikes!

I found some dealers willing to sell without ADM to local buyers but are asking out of state buyers for $5k - $10k ADM
Hardest thing to do i find an allocation. Took a year for my GTS Coupe to finally get here.
How are these dealers on build slots? I'd start there to see when they have available and how it works for your timeline before worrying about price. My .02
someone in the family just ordered a new cayenne hybrid coupe and it was 7500 above sticker, same at any dealership around us in northeast. The dealer had to get an allocation from a dealer in NY so they were able to get a late spring delivery
I’m also thinking about ordering a GTS Cayenne and am told that it’s about a year out now. My question…how soon the order would lock to changes? When are 2023’s typically announced?
I hate the thought of getting locked into an order that far out not knowing what I might have done different when 2023’s are announced.Worst case is I can reorder and start the clock over again.
Anyone have any insight or advice?

I think September build dates/allocations will be all 2023. I would think some announcement will come out in Spring if there's an update
If you are willing to fly-and-drive, you should be able to find a dealer offering at MSRP.
Search the pinned discounts thread for different strategies. I leveraged a member here with a strong network and got a price my local dealer could not come close to.
Also consider PEC delivery. It’s a great experience and and dealer in the US can have a car delivered there. We never set foot in our selling dealer, everything was online!
When I was looking for a Cayenne GTS, all the dealerships in Boston were asking for $10k over MSRP.. I posted about it in a Cayenne Facebook group and was contacted by the Mobile, AL dealership who had an allocation and willing to sell it to me at MSRP plus $1.5k for shipping. Exploring further with them, it was an allocation for the Coupe which I wasn't interested in, so I decided to wait it out for the 2023 facelift. Someone in this group mentioned that some dealerships are starting waiting lists for it.
Thanks all for the reply. So I finally found one dealer that sells me at MSRP, to be on waitlist though. He said he anticipate the delivery to be roughly end of the year. Does that means it could be MY2023'?

Chances are it would be a 2023 with 2023 pricing. With inflation being the way it is, next year's pricing might not be pretty. Being on a waitlist can be risky -- doesn't guarantee you will retain your position on the list.
