Unhappy BlackVue 900X Cutoff Problem

I installed a BlackVue 900X Plus 2CH dashcam but it is draining the car battery. I had to jump-start yesterday.

My car is my Porsche Cayanne 2020. I'm using hardwire method and I set the cut-off voltage to 12.5V and 1 hour time, but neither voltage or time limit is not working. I checked the videos and I can see that it recorded parking mode videos for 2 days.

I installed my dashcam at a local store and maybe they did something wrong. I attached my setup and app settings. The dashcam still works even at 11.7V. Would you please give me an idea about the problem?

If you want to keep the dashcam on 24/7. Suggest you get a dash cam battery pack. Otherwise the dashcam will keep draining out the car battery.

Thanks but I don’t need 7/24 recording. I just want to fix cutoff system(neighter voltage or time cutoff are not working).

Wrong fuse location. Need to find a fuse that is only on when motor is operational, under dead pedal location 15/16 i believe?

I have the same system on all of my vehicles and if you go to the app you can shut off the system after 2hrs of shutting off the car. I too learned the hard way and getting into a dead battery. The backup battery is a PIA and I don’t recommend it. I’m interested in installing the OEM Porsche Version when I get my Turbo GT. Jose

I have a 750X and confirm that both fuses your installer used are hot all the time (batt). That whole bank is hot, you need to get Acc from under the dead pedal.

Mine drained the battery once but I reset the off to the highest voltage and turned off motion sensing in parking.

You may wish to try these circuits on Row E. I think these circuits would require power with the ignition off. Check your owner’s manual for complete fuse charts. They vary by model year. This chart is from a 2021.

Thanks guys! I connected ACC cable to D15 and now the camera shuts down properly after I switch off the ignition. One problem is that I couldn't find ground connection and used the first fuse box location(left side of the steering wheel) again for grounding. I ordered an Add-a-Circuit Adapter to connect better and I will try to connect the BATT cable to enable the parking mode of the camera.
