Cayenne Steering Wheel Control Module - Chip Shortage
Our Cayenne GTS is arriving soon and we were told by our dealership that Porsche has been shipping the Cayennes without the steering wheel control module due to the microchip shortage. They will be able to adjust the steering wheel position to a general point until they can have the steering control module delivered and installed. Has anyone else's order been affected this way?

This is a known issue. See this thread GTS will be delivered without ability to adjust steering column due to chip shortage

At least your dealer told you ahead of time! I only found out because I was searching the internet for "cayenne broken steering wheel adjustment" the day after buying our Cayenne, and found this lovely forum talking about it. Frustrating.
