Default Pulled The Trigger

Order in today. 3/19 delivery estimate. Hopefully covid doesn't immobilize the world but if it does I'll wait. Might not be the car you'd build but I'm psyched: http://www.porsche-code.com/PM9M7UF8

Congrats! Now for the tough wait! Very nice build! Rear wheel steering and HUD are not bad too. You may want to consider those.

Thanks yeah I spent a lot of time thinking and researching and a fair amount of time driving these cars before I put the build together. For better or worse I was determined to get the car below a price and with some dealer participation I was able to get there. There was going to be tradeoffs made.

Thanks I'm here in Massachusetts and the sales guy said the combo is "wicked mint". Which means very sharp.

Congrats! I ordered mine two weeks ago and have a 3/05 planned delivery date. I'll post as my dates are updated, which will give you at least some idea of how things are progressing just ahead of you.

Liar!!!

The wait goes excruciatingly slowly. It is only in retrospect that it seems it wasn't so bad.

Congrats, looks like a nice build. I didn't see a trailer hitch, but roof rails are on the build. Is a hitch something you want/need?

No, there isn't. But your SA has access to the tracking info. My guy pulls them for all of his customers once per week and emails ours to each of us. I'll post mine here just to show you what they look like. The date columns are planned, expected, and actual so you'll see that my start date already pulled forward a week. E-mail your SA and ask for the tracking schedule and I strongly suspect s/he will pull it and send it along to you. Once it boards the boat, there are also ships tracking sites where you can follow it across the ocean.

That'll work. Thanks. I built an S4 10 years ago and I could access the same info online in pretty much real time but as long as I can follow along I'm good. Not sure they still do that.

Thanks Chassis, no, I have a decent truck to pull stuff and go to the dump, this thing's not doing that stuff! It'll probably carry skis or bikes or whatever though, and the rails were pretty cheap (relatively) and look okay so I put them on. Don't really love them but you can't put them on later if you need them, so...

Seems like a ling time to receive. Recently ordered a GTS and it arrived quickly. Order: September ~25th -- delivery in S. Florida November 14th.

I suspect (or at least hope) the shipping times might be padded a bit. I’m hoping to receive my Cayenne in Feb instead of early March. Time will tell if I’m right about that. But nothing I can do about it; it will get here when it gets here.

Arrival port is Jacksonville if that makes a difference for us in Georgia and Florida. Maybe cars come faster to the south vs. new England area?
