Default First time buyer: Cayenne Base Model 2020

Hi everyone,

Been with BMW for over 20 years, looking to switch it up. I'm wondering what is a realistic/best % discount on a $85,000 MSRP Porsche Cayenne Base Model in (Canadian Dollars) be. Options include Premium Package, and that's about it and some random things here and there. Are there many Cayennes on the lot for 2020? I'm thinking of leasing, for 42 months then buying the car out if I fall in love with it.

I know it depends on the car, but a benchmark would be great so that I know what would be considered farfetched as this would be my first experience with Porsche.

Appreciate the guidance.

Is this a new, never-titled vehicle? Does it have any miles/kms on it? There are base 2020 Cayennes listed for $70k US and below, with several thousand miles on them. Please provide as many details as you have, for people to help with your question.

Depends on a few things:
lot car vs custom order
how many dealers in your vicinity
If lot car, his long it has been sitting
How much in options
Prior purchase history
quarter/ year end

8k in options is minimal IMO. You are not going to get a lot of discount off that.

If lot car with lots of options (eg30k) and sitting for a few months, lots of dealers around; then start with 10%.

Custom build with minimal options, only dealer in town, first time buyer, start with 5%.

Ask them to throw in mats, trunk tray, first oil change...

GL.

Depends where you are. My small (single dealer) market gets stuck at 3%.
