If there are any holes on the rear tuxmat, you can consider using some duct tape to seal off so no water can leak thru.
update: i checked the rear … tuxmat has the two holes on each side

@Kalson do you have a coupe? which cayenne do you have? Can they measure for a cargo area mat ask well?
I have a 2024 base coupe and the porsche all weather mats (i test fit them at the dealer) are a poor fit. the rear driver side was absolutely terrible. the front driver was very meh. the mat just didn’t lay flat along the outer edge. plus, they aren’t even real rubber, some lesser material. I know Tux and weathertech aren’t real rubber either, but a good fit would be a step up. the porsche ones were so bad i didn’t even get them.

For the time being, I'm using WeatherTech 2024 HP front mat and 2023 regular rear mat, and both fit perfectly on my non-coupe.

Are those poor fitting mats the 2023 all weather mats or the 2024 all weather mats ? My local dealer is still waiting for the 2024 all weather mats and the 2024 reversible trunk liner to come in.

the dealer told me porsche told them the mat they had were correct. it sounded like they were the 2023 mats. they also told me they didn’t fit the 2024 and that they keep telling porsche they don’t fit. that said the parts guy i was talking to was real young and didn’t seem like he was a top person.
But since my dealer so insists that I get the 2024 All weather mats and trunk mat for a 100% fit, so be it. When the 2024 mats eventually come in, I'll compare and see if I will stay with WeatherTech or use the new 2024 factory mats.

One thing for sure is that my dealer test fit the 2023 reversible trunk mat on the 2024 Cayenne SUV, and said it wasn't a 100% fit. I was like scratching my head because the 2024 Cayenne is just a facelift, and not a complete redesign. So the interior form and dimension should remain the same.

On youtube if you search for weathertech vs tuxmat, you can find multiple reviewers showing how the fit of the weathertech mats over time do not hold up. Apparently the sides end up folding down and look sloppy with gaps etc. Until I saw those, I was thinking I'd just go weathertech, but know the fit won't remain good over time really irked me.

The HP compound mats seem more compliable whereas the regular compound mats seem very rigid. The HP mats also have a slightly darker tone than the regular mats.
Thanks for the heads up.

Any idea that the over-time-fold-down WeatherTech mats are the regular mats or the HP mats ? I'm using the HP mats for the front floor and the regular mat for the rear floor, due to the HP rear mat still hasn't come out when I ordered.

I just bought the weathertech HP mats for 50$ from someone on ebay who bought them for their 2024 cayenne but then their car came with the porsche all weather mats so they are selling the weathertech hp mats unused.

They mentioned they are going redo the rear mats as there are some small changes there and they will also remove mounting points, so I didn't end up going home with those today. They'll take about 6-weeks to develop and then I'll go back for a test fitting.
As a previous user of WeatherTech and OEM mats in multiple cars, I have to say that I'm very impressed with the TuxMat. There's really no comparison and I wish I bought these earlier.
- The OEM mats never offer enough coverage. I always get salt stains and dirt buildup around the pedal area. Also, my son always walks across the center section in the back and gets the middle part dirty
- The Weather Tech mats offer much better coverage, but the material is quite plasticky and the logo's tend to come off over time
On the other hand, the TuxMat covers way more than WeatherTech. The door sills, the surrounding trim and the back of the rear seats are all covered as well. Also, the material has a more premium feel to it and the texture and ribbed design looks much more upscale IMO.
You can see the pictures of the mats in my car below (you can see the professional pics of the mats in my car on their site later).
