Default Road Trip

We are about to take a long road trip in my wife’s new Cayenne (2020). Any advice for a long haul? Anyone surface any issues in similar trips that might be addressed preemptively?

No issues with road trips. I think Porsche has it figured out. If it's a really long trip, may be a good idea to top up windshield washer fluid and engine oil, but not that critical. Just get in and drive.

I’ve got the 14-way seats and after about 4 hours on the road they start feeling pretty hard and uncomfortable. A seat cushion makes the trip a lot more enjoyable for me. But then, I don’t have a lot of body padding.

Wife and I recently took our new S on 6 hour road trip. 18 way seats were incredibly comfortable and supportive. Ride quality in Sport Mode / low air suspension was perfect. No back stiffness at all after ride.

My Cayenne has a compact spare tire and the compressor user the trunk floor. Don't they all have that?

I took my first 5 hour trip up the California coast and no issues at all. 14 way seats were great and suspension set to low but not sport.

On May 1st I purchased a 1019 Cayenne S with 816 miles on it from a dealer in GA. I drove into the dealership with a 2011 Cayenne S loaded with our living South for 6 months from New England Winter escape "Stuff" (1,200 lbs. at least). Packed all of that into the new Cayenne and proceeded to drive straight through for COVID reasons to Northern New England 1,800 miles. No problems at all with the Cayenne.
