I asked my Porsche service adviser today when I dropped of my Cayenne if this was an issue and they stated no, you are required to open the hood to take out the headlights.
can others please chime in if this really is an issue? If yes, what are they doing about it? Did your dealership add a screw or something?
Have him watch that video. Looks like they used a tool to pop the clips / barely loosen and then waited to grab both at the same time so they could get both when the alarm went off.

That video shows a previous-Gen Cayenne, so it's a problem across the board, apparently. You can tell by the headlight design, and the look of the LED light strip below it.

I don't know that they are getting them out without some kind of damage to the clips or brackets.

Headlights are included in Sherlock Antitheft Marking, which requires a trip to Canada.

If your car is a 2020, and Porsche has not made changes to them to prevent such a fast theft, I'll be drilling mine this week. That is just incredible. Problem is, if you drill them, and the thieves can't get them, they may damage the car instead. Porsche needs to address this issue immediately.

I will review the mechanics associated with the removal of the lights and create a video of the process if one has not been created. Ridiculous that I even have to consider such a process. Please respond if you have any information to the contrary. Thank you.
