That's way too shiny. I could do my hair, or what's left of it, leaning into your rear quarter panel. Send it back!

(Looks great.)

Default Cayenne Turbo

Picked up my new Cayenne Turbo last week...I’ve posted on different threads about the prolonged delays with my S order (PSCB related) and very happy with the swap over to the Turbo.
I test drove the Base, S and E-Hybrid but ended up buying the one model I didn’t drive beforehand. Thanks to all the advice and comments on this forum that made the decision so much easier.

Could you tell me a bit more about your experience with the hybrid and how it compared to the S? Were the brakes weird or relatively fine?
It's hard to find first hand owner experience on the hybrids since they're only available overseas at the moment.

The EH was our first experience in a hybrid and the drive was great. Phenomenal acceleration from zero. Also quite a good standard spec and didn’t encounter any issues with brakes at all. I did feel that the translation from all electric to petrol in the hybrid mode was not as seamless as I would have expected - there was a noticeable change that you don’t experience in the S or Turbo when accelerating.

The reason we didn’t go do it were 1) my wife couldn’t get used to the silence on start-up and during normal driving; 2) we have quite a few hills in our area so needed extra torque which the S and Turbo could offer; 3) EH was not as nimble around corners (maybe due to extra weight or a different weight distribution because of the battery?); and 4) we prefer the PSE sound which we couldn’t option onto the EH. A great car but ultimately we had different requirements.

KNS, your Turbo looks fantastic. I love the white with the white PSCB calipers -- looks totally custom. And with the black accents, especially the door handles and mirrors... man, what a clean car.

This exact color / trim combo was personally my first choice. Our Turbo was my wife's car, though, so she made all the option / color choices. But yours is an especially sharp Cayenne. Well done and congrats!

Thanks! I’m very happy with it and thankfully no glitches so far. A lot of great looking builds on this forum.

Just had my wheels done along with a much needed wash. Next step exhaust.

Had to do a double-take, George -- just realized yours are 20" rims. I gotta say they look great in flat back. They look more menacing than factory bright silver (duh), but somehow they look bigger too.

Very sharp car!

Sorry. What a dope. I can read the tiny print on the sidewalls, but can't see the shiny black stuff on your wheels.
