How do I control the instrument ILLUMINATION?
On the 2019 Cayenne...
I have a driver that has problems with bright lights at night and need to tone down the interior illumination. I know I can turn down the multi-colored mood lights, but I have not found a way to lower the brightness of all the white control buttons around the shift lever, the ring around the 12v socket, the ring around the ignition switch, and the tachometer. You'd think there's a simple dial under the dash, but there's none. This driver says that the ring around the ignition switch is especially annoying as it reflects in the driver's side window at night right in the corner of the side view mirror. The brightness settings for "Other instruments" in the PCM seem to do nothing.
