It seems clear that with all the overhead tolls getting installed everywhere that front-plate enforcement is on the rise.

Just wanted to revive this thread to see if anybody has found any alternative front-mount solutions for the 9Y0? Has anyone tried one of the universal options? Would love a tow hook mount that doesn't obstruct the parking sensors if such thing exists.

I got pulled over between Austin and Houston yesterday by a Trooper for no front plate. Before I left for this trip to Austin, I actually spent quite a bit of time trying to rig something up to attach a homemade plate mount thing to the slats of the grille just for the highway trip with zip ties but I wasn't happy with it (wasn't confident that it would stay on and/or not damage anything), so I took it off and rolled with a photocopy of the plate taped to my front windshield on passenger side. I figured that would be good enough from a distance, and it worked the last time I went in May. It didn't work this time...he stopped me just for the plate. Luckily he let me off with a written warning, probably because he could tell I was being totally honest about my trying to rig something to avoid drilling the bumper and because my 40th bday was last week. But it looks like I may try out that sto-n-sho also, so that I can easily throw the plate on just for highway trips or whenever I don't want to give anyone a reason to pull me over. I hadn't ever heard of that until now. I don't like that it still requires holes to be drilled but it seems to be the best solution I've seen nonetheless.

Has anyone tried this thing called Bozzmounts? According to their site, it just attaches to the bottom grill and doesn't require any drilling.

I have not had a front plate for more than 40 years, drive at least 30k miles per year, and have only received a ticket once while parked at LAX parking. However, I realize that some states are getting rather militant in enforcing the front plate requirement. Before I would drill a hole in my bumper I might try one of these, does anyone have any experience with this product? Here is the link.....https://bigmikesperformanceparts.com.

^that’s what we’re discussing above

I think I’m going to buy one. I mentioned to my boss today and he ordered one for his car, so I’m going to check out his in person before I order one.

Please let us know how you like it. I assume that you have the standard bumper? Wonder if will fit on the sport bumper? Pictures please when you get it installed.

What does the Sto and Sho actually attach to in the new 2019 Cayenne?

I have a 2019 Cayenne "S" with some other nice packages.. Don't know if this "S" has a sport bumper. I know whatever I use, I have to be careful with the sensors, radar, etc..

You drill a couple holes in the plastic front plastic cover under the bumper lip, and it screws into that.

I just ordered this yesterday from Suncoast Parts. It will take 4 weeks to get.
I wanted a European front plate bracket.
I'll post pictures when I get it.
I have the 2019 Cayenne Turbo with Sport package styling.
