For what it’s worth my dealer said people like rear wheel steering for parking.

I always back back in my TT and have found it very helpful for that.

I was was surprised he wasn’t big on the sport chrono. To me that seemed the most essential. Then again I launch my TT fairly often.

As for other options on the Turbo, most are cosmetic — black rails / door handles / window trim / mirrors. Club Leather in Cohiba Brown / Truffle. Massaging / ventilated / heated seats. Premium Package Plus. Clear taillights. ParkAssist with Surround View (she’s gotten used to top-down 360 cameras). Anthracite Chestnut trim. Maybe the matching steering wheel.

The S options list is much longer (including SportDesign package, which we’re skipping on the Turbo — she hates all the gray lower plastic on the S, a problem the SD package solves) and basically builds a Turbo without the V8 for $13K less. I’ve convinced her the V8 is the right choice. Didn’t take much convincing. She likes speed more than I do. If she had her druthers, we’d buy her a 911 Turbo S!

Rennlist is great, folks. I’ve really learned a lot and enjoyed your posts.
SC is a must have for me. It gives you sport + function as well as the small steering wheel mounted switch to change driving modes easily, launch control is also fun to have.

On another note. The only way to get highbeam assistant is to order the matrix LED headlights. Kind of stupid but I have to have hi beam assist

Dane and fixin, thanks for your posts re: Sport Chrono. I think we’re sticking with that one.

Regardlng PDLS+ LEDs, does anyone have any leads as to whether DOT will allow the advanced Euro functionality here in the US anytime soon?

SC also gives you a nasty wart. It's negatives outweigh the benefits, which are minimal.

^^^ As stated above SC includes a steering wheel mounted switch to adjust suspension settings...
SC on a Turbo incl a 20 sec push to pass over boost function. Nuff said...
Agree on the some models it is a waste of money. I don't have it on my current gt3...
Definitely will order this on the next cayenne. Don't care what it looks like if it offers addl perf for everyday use

Agree .The aestheics of the clock is personal preference. Two tenths faster 0-60 is cool to me .

I don't mind the center gauge. It also serves as a clock which is useful.

Is anyone interested in the PSCB brakes. Standard on the turbo but optional on standard and S. I'm pretty excited about them.

I’m ordering a turbo as well. Very interested in the PSCB. But not sure I want white calipers...

Big fan of the PSCBs. If we buy an S, we’ll upgrade to them. If we go Turbo, we’ll stick with them as standard. Really interesting technology. And we love the white calipers.

Moto-man tv did a cayenne turbo test recently. He drove it 300 miles and there was absolutely no brake dust when he wiped his finger on the wheel with the PSCB brakes.
