Default Urgent help: 2014 Cayenne Platinum

hi, may be I am paranoid but following are the three cars looking at. Fact that I see three platinum 2014s at the same time, IS THERE a CATCH?

1) CPO 2014 Cayenne platinum black/black 15k miles. excellent condition - 52k USD

2) CPO 2014 Cayenne platinum black/black 36k miles. excellent condition with few chips in front and small chip rear bumper - 47k USD

3) CPO 2014 Cayenne platinum black/black 37k miles. excellent condition with few chips in front - 48.5k USD

Which one I should buy?

Need to make the decision in 2 days. Appreciate your help.

Several things to consider:

1. CPO is 6 years from in service date. Which one has latest in-service date?

2. 40K service is fairly expensive (maybe as much as $3400). Has either of the vehicles with 36K/37K had the 40K service done due to time/CPO inspection? Otherwise the price becomes about the same for all three vehicles. Therefore go with number one depending on in-service date.

3. What does service history look like on each vehicle?

4. A few rock chips are meaningless compared to serviceability/reliability.

Thanks Beqok

Very helpful. I will check these things with them. I like the first car anyway given less mileage on it.

I know that the car with 36k miles had some work done on it - new tires, break fluid flush and couple other minor things.

Do I have to change oil every 10k miles or 5k miles?

Urgent must have a different meaning to you. I'm thinking "urgent" is first world problems.

They all look like decent deals based on the information given, so just go with the one that makes your peen the hardest.

You have now used up all your 'urgent help' cards with me, haha.

hi all, test drove the 2014 platinum black/black today. Has 16k miles. Really liked it.

price: 51k. CPO warranty expires 9/20/2020.

Car had alignment issue which was fixed along with four new tires back in Nov 2015.

WILL BE SIGNING THE PAPERS TOMORROW.

Let me know your thoughts please?

Default Why no 11/16 Service Shown

Yearly service should have taken place in November 2016. Not shown. Also not shown were the results of the CPO inspection (should be several pages of data showing such things as rotor thicknesses, tire tread depths, etc., etc., etc.) If they don't show you the CPO inspection report, DON'T buy it because they are likely hiding something.

It is in the service center now for the yearly. I have just asked the sales guy to give me the CPO inspection report.

Thanks for the heads up

Default Didn't See Anything, But Tires Barely Passed...

hope you got a break in the price so that you can replace them. After all, it's now winter and you want the best traction you can get in wet/snow.

Should I be worried that the tires worn out with just 16k?

That is about how long they last on these cars if you drive them hard. They can eat tires and brakes like a boss.

Default Low Miles, High Wear Shows the Leasee Drove It Not Babied It....

In other words the phrase, "Drove it like he stole it." applies. Not necessarily a bad thing. There is a big difference between drving it hard and abusing it. If the leasee abused it, you likely would have seen other evidence besides just worn tires. Besides that with all four tires apparently showing equal wear, I suspect the leasee took care of it. No worries!

So, I drove home the 2014 Porsche Cayenne today.

When driving back home at 75mph steering wheel started shaking. Called the dealer back, they said it is probably because of the 4 new tires. They will fix it next Tuesday. Should I be worried?

Thanks again
