Default 2012 Cayenne Turbo Brake Pads

I just joined the forum recently when I purchased my 1999 911. My sister has had your 2012 Cayenne Turbo for about 2 years now and constantly raves about it. One thing she is interested in doing is changing her brake pads. She purchased the car with about 8k miles and it how has 40k miles on the original brakes. She is concerned about low speed brake squeal.

She does drive pretty aggressively but not at the absolute limit. What kind of pads (or other solution) would minimize the brake squeal?

I installed TRW pads in my '11 CTT - no noise - stops well - cost effective.. and fairly dust free.

What's a good place to buy TRW pads?

Any other good options out there that might produce less noise than stock?

If she has a turbo, get the pagodas. They are a little more up to the task of bringing that pig to a stop than the TRW's.

I've run the TRW's and they are a good pad for cold bite and normal driving. Heat them up a bit and they'll start to show a little fade.

I have a 12' turbo with only 22k miles... also have this squeal. I will look into Pagids (or pagodas, unsure if misspelling) as I tow with mine and don't want any brake fade coming down a hill.

Helpful post, thanks for posting!

Pagid, Textar, Bosch and Original Porsche are all options. I'll check on TRW as well. Mintex shows a listing but they are currently unavailable.
