Porsche ceyenne 2012 drive train
20112 Porsche Ceyenne S. 56k miles, drive train needs replacing (cost of 5k) after vibrations in the drive train. I've been the only owner, vehicle has never been in an accident. Porsche agreed to pay only for half of the expense. I'm extremely unhappy as I paid the vehicle off two years ago expecting zero major expenses except for the normal maintenance. Prior to the drive train problem I had $2,850 for replacing a coolant issue and blower.

Moving this to the correct forum. If we don't hear back from the OP within a few days - the thread will be removed. There have been instances here where people from other forums (jealous I guess) have come here and in their first post put forward something quite absurd in the hopes of generating discord or something.
OP - can you please clarify what you mean by "drive train" - that normally refers to the entire engine/transmission/transfer-case/driveshafts/axle-drive-shafts/wheel-hubs/etc assembly. If all of that is being replaced for $5,000 you've got quite the bargain and I'd go for it.
I suspect that isn't what was actually said by the dealer - so perhaps you could copy directly from the service document where they gave you an estimate?
