Hybrid Message P309D
Hi,
I have Cayenne 2012, having this DTC, P309D, Separating clutch actuator insufficient slip with open clutch (showing on the instrument as: hybrid system fault on the display)
Symptom: Hybrid message shown, this happen when high speed and des-aceleration from high speed of between 60-80km/h.
Replacement: I have replaced new separating clutch actuator hybrid.
- performing successfully clutch bleeding.
- Perform clutch adaptation.
-Check clutch disk and cover.
- Wiring.
I still have this problem still, pls advise.

Yeah a 2010 Hybrid s. The hybrid system fault light has come on and the mechanic is saying that there is a fault with the actuator but seems to be having issues finding the part and fixing it. I was wondering if anyone has managed to get it resolved. When looking throughout the forum alot of people seem to have had the error but then not necessarily posted the resolution : (

Same. My car has the same problem. My new mechanic tells that my cats are bad, car exhaust system overheats, and causing the problem. Not sure, if it is the solution. Whats your mileage ? and how is your battery ? Is it original ? Do you have any other problems ?

Sorry just seen this reply. They needed to change the actuator in the end.
I've had another hybrid light since but this one is due to the vacuum pump needing to be replaced.
