I suggest idling in lazy circles around Williams-Sonoma - I think they sell a first-cold-press-extra-extra-virgin-olive-oil-and-sherry-vinegar-ABC Extinguisher that will pair nicely with smoked Cayenne.
I have a 2014 Cayenne Diesel and tonight after the game I started my cayenne. I came back outside to find the air filled with this awful electrical smell. I opened my door and smoke rolled out of the cabin. I could see smoke coming from the left headlight. I turned off the car and the smoke dissipated. Turned the car back on and the smell and smoke came back. The motor sounded normal, no messages and fluids were just topped off after recent service. I really do not know what this could be. Any input would be appreciated.
Yeah the alternator was fried and caught fire somehow. Took months at two P dealers to get the burnt metal smell out of the cabin. Haven’t had any related issues since...

Thanks...I have a 2014 diesel and it just had the exact same issue. Electrical smoke/smell and now won't start
Just had this exact same issue. Alternator replaced under warranty. Interior smells like a tire fire at the moment, but will dissipate over time i'm sure

The smell took months to dissipate because I had heat running while alternator was burning. I contacted Porsche NA and they took care of it for me. Countless hours at multiple Pcar dealers with ozone machine running.

That smell is real tough to combat. Had something like that on old car, took probably 6 months to get out fully. Get one of those "new car" smelly things. helps mask it.
