Default 2016 Dead pedal - earlier models - ?

Can the dead pedal from the 2016 Cayenne be retrofitted to earlier models. I tried to see how it was attached, but could not pry up the pedal enough to see or slide it to disconnect it from the floor, etc.....anyone have experience with this one? Appreciate any information. Pedal is $ 44.00 so it is an inexpensive upgrade and much more durable and better looking than the patch sewn into the carpet that Porsche used to favor....I have a Rennline dead pedal in my 993, so I'll have to check that source also....thanks

Most likely needs drilling, to retrofit. The 955/957 padded carpeting needs to either be removed or the base needs a solid platform.

can you provide a picture or a part number? I haven't been in a 2016 model and don't know what it looks like

Bought a factory look Rennline pedal with no logo yesterday to match the other aluminum pedals for
$ 125.00......easy tape installation...........that will make that area look better and cleaner over time.....love the black one on my 993...

Can you post a pic?
Is the tape installation secure?

Have not received yet....apparently part of the part slips under the side panel to help secure along with the tape...look on Rennline website for photo of logo and no logo pedal...

Installed with tape provided by Rennline......Cayenne GTS should have come with this pedal, matched perfectly ......awesome fit and finish......nice upgrade.......easy installation 3 minutes.............my 993 dead pedal from Rennline required drilling 3 holes...but big improvement on that car....

Default Dead pedal

Can you share the source, part number for dead pedal? Where were the holes drilled? I would guess this is a do it yourself installation?

Thanks,

Mike

Default Rennline

All tape installation. Go to Rennline website and it is priced at 125.00 for 2014 Cayenne search. No screws for this one and adhesive is strong. Order with or without Rennline logo. Mine is without logo.
