Adding Clock or Sport/Chrono?
I have the compass on my 2012 CTT and would rather have the clock or sport/chrono, both of which I can find online.
Is this a straight swap?
I understand I may (probably) need to have the dealer update the car settings, but will the existing cable work or do I need one of those, too?

If you have PCM, there should be a place for the sport chrono to plug in to. Pretty straight forward from what I've researched.

I've heard it is a different wiring harness between the compass and clock/chrono options.
Have you pulled the module out yet? I have some pics of the back of my chrono and its cable somewhere. If I can dig the up maybe we can compare and know for sure.

Don't have pics of the clock like I thought, but here is what I have of the plug at the end of the harness. They are:
- Bottom
- End
- Left side
- Top (yes it is a BMW part )
- Right side (sorry it's useless)

No luck, previously
I will try to make the switch, again. The last time I tried (several months ago), the clock started to work, then stopped, restarted, etc. (I agree that it is easy to connect the clock in place of the compass - they seem to use the same connector/pin arrangement.)
Thanks for the suggestions/responses.
