Upper coolant hose clip?
Hi all, I’ve got a 2011 Cayenne S and I’m finishing up the tail end of a timing chain replacement.
Does anyone know on the upper coolant hose where it connects to the radiator? Is there a metal clip horseshoe shaped? If so, I must have lost mine during the work. Does anyone have a part number for that?
One of the related question. When I go to pressure fill the system., Does the expansion tank need to be completely empty? I tried the process to vacuum fill the expansion tank, but it already had a few inches of coolant in it and it did not seem to work effectively.
appreciate any info.

The return water hose is 958-106-401-00 - there's no separate clip as the clip only comes with the hose. Hopefully you can find the clip!
In the future, you just need to raise the clip until it locks upward to remove the hose - there's no reason to remove the clip.
Yes, empty the tank: the big flexible hoses should fully collapse if things are working properly when doing a vacuum fill.
