Default Air Filter Change Looks Different On GTS

Just purchased a 2014 958.1 GTS. I went to try to change the air filters and I noticed that it looked different than any other video I found on YouTube on how to do it. There are extra pipes going in and out of the air filter that I've never seen. Picture below (ignore the circle marks). What is this extra piping and what is its purpose? It's on both airboxes on each side.

I'm a visual learner. Are there any videos around that show how to change the air filter on this particular airbox? I've done a lot of searching and I've come up empty. Anyone have a video they've made?

The extra piping is for the sound symposer - It basically pipes the engine sounds into the A-pillars...because racecar.

That's interesting. I'm assuming no difference in performance. I would be curious to hear what it sounds like without that on it.
