I have a strange situation with my Bose Audio system in my 2016 GTS. My audio completely went silent a few weeks ago on all source settings including phone calls. I have a Mr. 12 Volt installed and have not had any issues. The PCM is on and CarPlay comes on with all features working. Just have no sound. I also started hearing a sizzling or popping sound from the front speakers around the same time the audio stopped working.
This weekend, while I was sitting in the Cayenne waiting for my wife to come from a store, I had the key in the Aux position and the sound came on as normal but when I turn the ignition on, the sound goes silent again.
any thoughts on where to start looking?
